The face(s) behind the business! For those of you who don't know, this is me (Annie) and my other half, Luke. Hello! 👋

I have a couple of staff members in the kitchen who I couldn't be without! 💜 But everything behind the scenes is done by me with lots of help from Luke, even though he doesn't officially work for the business! He loves nothing more than finishing a day at his full-time job and hearing me say "can you do me a favour" 😇 He puts up with my stress levels and sitting doing work at home late into the night. (Who needs a life!)

We don't do pictures too often but thought I'd share one from our recent holiday, which already feels ages ago.🤦‍♀️)

We've got NEW Oreo cookie mix bottles in the shop! 😍🍪 All the dry ingredients to make 12 delicious chocolate oreo cookies, with full instructions included. All you need to do is add the butter and egg!

Sorry I've been pretty quiet on here this week...it's been a VERY chaotic week as I'm trying to get a lot sorted before we go away next week (don't worry...the girls are keeping the shop running for me 😊😊).

The shop is open as usual tomorrow and we'll also be at Barwell Infant School summer fayre tomorrow at the George Ward Centre (11-3). And don't forget our weekly stock in the vending machine at @middlefieldsmoojuice. So plenty of opportunities this weekend to get your hands on our delicious bakes 😋

Due to staff holidays, June and July are booking up very quickly for fully decorated 4-layer celebration cakes. If you haven't contacted us yet but looking to book in for the next couple of months, please email us ASAP on info@anniesbakesandcakes.co.uk. Annie will be working through enquiry emails as quick as possible. We're already having to turn customers away which we absolutely hate doing ☹️☹️

We have more space to fit in other custom products (giant cookies, brownie stacks, cupcakes, 2-layer naked cakes) but still recommend booking in as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

Our chunky cookie dough filled with milk chocolate chunks and Reese's pieces. Bite into this and you'll be greeted with delicious peanut butter 🥜

Another take on the viral dubai chocolate! We've stuffed the pistachio kunafa into our chunky chocolate cookie dough filled with milk and dark chocolate chunks. Finished off with a drizzle of pistachio spread and chopped pistachios.
